Here are a few reasons why I prefer Tickticktrader over Apex and Topstep: 1) Apex has an intraday trailing drawdown. Many traders will fail their evaluation because of this rule. In contrast, Ticktick has an end of the day drawdown, which is the fair way of taking the evaluation. Ticktick only has a one time fee when you get funded, which is a big plus. 2) Topstep has a consistency rule. Imagine you made the perfect entry and riding a big winner. You want to hold for more gains, but forced to close the position because you don't want to break the consistency rule. Companies implement this rule so it's more difficult to pass. Ticktick doesn't have the dreaded consistency rule. Topstep has abruptly changed their rules many times in the past to make it harder to pass. The consistency rule is just one example.

So this is my second rodeo with TickTick Trader. I was funded, made two withdrawals which were super prompt; then blew my account 🙁 But not to be deterred, I signed up again with this amazing company and passed and waiting to be funded again. And this time around, I hope to remain "funded" for a long period of time. Just wanted to give a big shout to to Lara, who goes above and beyond to help out with anything I needed!!
